Types of Groups/ Teams
Groups/ Teams can be distinguished according to the applied perspective
- Internal organization of groups
- Traditionally managed groups (have an official leader/ manager)
- Self-managed teams (share responsibility for managing the work group)
- Time frame for group work
- Relatively permanent groups (work for longer periods [more than a year] on a set of repetitive tasks)
- Temporary groups (project work on new, innovative issues [task forces])
